night cycling!

went overnight cycling on wednesday :)

we met in school at 2000 then headed to pasir panjang food centre for dinner, then went via west coast highway/keppel/shenton way/raffles place/esplanade/suntec/mountbatten/fort road to east coast park. spent an hour plus at macs before going for dim sum at jalan besar at 0330. went back via jalan besar road, bencoolen st, orchard road, tanglin road, jalan bukit merah. sat around some more at queenstown macs then reached back in school at 0530.

it's times like these that make school life memorable, because you still have friends who are free enough to do this kind of stuff with. the last part, cycling alone on the road in the rain from buona vista to school at 5 in the morning is probably one of the most fun things i've done in a while. i'm thankful for friends whom i can do these things with, considering 90% of BB people are sedentary little shits who need to be coerced and threatened into taking a breath of non air-conditioned air.

four out of the five of us who went are ex-blazers. who's surprised?

i'm planning another overnight kayaking-cycling thing to pulau ubin at the end of the year. who's in?
